Q. If I live in the continental United States, can I order products in any way other than on line? A. Absolutely!! The website is the most expedient way but if you prefer you can contact me by email at

. When using email, just list the products you want to purchase and any questions you have. I will respond quickly. You are also welcome to phone us at (804) 794-3101 at any hour between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. and leave a message. A. It is, for the most part. I sometimes use my computer if space is limited (such as on a postcard) or the passage is long but ordinarily I have used my own handwriting since so many of my customers are quick to recognize it as mine. I do often consider eliminating the handwriting because it is so time consuming to set it up and have it perfectly centered. I'd be interested to know if my customers would prefer one method exclusively or both. Q. Do you draw each item individually by hand? A. No. That would consume far too much time. I compose the original and then have that color copied in quantity at a reliable local printer. Q. How long does it take you to create a design? A. That depends on how intricate the design is and the size of the print. I must first meditte on the verse and research its meaning in context. Then I consider how I can effectively communicate that and whether the verse lends itself to illustration in a specific sense or would best work with just a border. I must also consider my customers and discern whether I will be communicating mostly to children or adults. Adults often prefer more sophisticated designs that will fit into their home decor. Smetimes my illustrations are realistic and sometimes a whimsical representation. For instance, if you find a picture of an angel, it is more likely to be whimsical than to represent the powerful messengers and warriors that they actually are. Q, What is the difference between your method and lithograph printing?A. The color copying method is less expensive to reproduce than the lithograph process and thereby assures that I can sell my products at more affordable prices that allow for wider distribution. However color copies will fade gradually over a period of time. Q. Why do you only use the New International Version, NIV®, and the English Standard Version, ESV®, translations of the Bible? A. These are the translations we are currently authorized to use under certain specific terms, for a specific period of time and at a specific cost. Without that permission I could only sell legally my own illustrations and what I personally write and that would defeat the purpose of this ministry/business, I understand that older translations may be in what is called the "public domain" but these are not. We will also offer other popular translations if used by a substantial number of our customers. To do so we would have to apply for permission and incur those additional costs. I would have to consider whether the additonal costswould justify consideration of that translation. Q. Why can't I buy your products and then just reproduce them myself? A. All of my products are copyrighted, which allows me protection under the law against unauthorized reproduction of my works, which I do not grant. If I discover that any of my designs are being illegally reproduced, I will be obligated to pursue the matter legally and seek compensation. Otherwise my efforts would result in no income and Net's Art, Inc. would cease to be a viable company. Q. What is your return policy? A. If you receive your order and are not satisfied with it, you should notify us and we will refund the amount of your purchase if returned in good condition within 30 days of the time you received it. We sincerely hope that will not be the case and that you will be completely delighted with all orders you receive. Q. Why did it take you ten years to get a website? A. Although that option was recommended almost from the beginning (1999), we found ourselves too involved in other things to pursue it until recently. Our lives have been quite full in the past ten years. All kinds of life issues have arisen, one right after the other. Can you relate? 2009 seemed to be in line with God's timing and we are trusting Him to prosper us. Q, Do you have a paid staff that works with you? A. My husband is a great help to me in this work, doing all kinds of practical things that would overwhelm me. I also have a dear friend who comes alongside whenever she is able. She is a delightful person with a very kind heart. Everyone who meets her is instantly drawn to her. At this point, however, none of us receive a salary. Thanks for your questions. If you have others, just email them.
