February 24, 2013 Some major changes are taking place to make Net's Art, Inc. a more effective ministry and business.
1. We are narrowing our product line to include only those items that have a strong sales history and will eliminate all designs that do not meet that standard. Those will be sold at clearance prices until the inventory is eliminated or we retire the designs. We have updated on the website prices in the notecard category to reflect the current price of $6.00 per set. The designs in that category that will be phased out will have the clearance price of $3.00 per set until all inventory in that design is sold or retired. This same procedure will be applied to all other categories as well. Some categories will be eliminated entirely. Quantities are limited so don't delay if you wish to take advantage of the reduced prices. 2. As of February 15, 2013 Net's Art products are being sold in Rivah Antiques and Accessories, a popular shop located at 435 S. Main Street in Kilmarnock VA. If you're visiting the Northern Neck or the Middle Peninsula, drop in and see what we have for sale...and tell others about it. A customer from Heathsville encouraged us to consider this new opportunity and we're glad we did. Currently we have spiral notebooks, magnets and lots of notecards in a small space. As additional space becomes available we will offer more products--most under the category of "Christian stationery" but others will be gifts that will appeal to a broader customer base. That will include framed prints of river and beach subjects.3. As I have time, I am continuing to make revisions to my writings so they can be printed in book form and I'm making significant progress. I am very grateful that God has provided an experienced author to advise me on the writing and the technical aspects of getting my work printed and sold. What a blessing! 4. UPCOMING EVENTS I'll be participating in include the following: April 5-8--THE REGIONAL DISCIPLES OF CHRIST RETREAT in Yale, VA. I'll be supplying the nametags and setting up my products there, as I have for several years. May 25--THE STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL IN HEATHSVILLE VA. Don't miss it!! It's a longstanding tradition in the Northern Neck and features booths with a vast variety of articles, music, and also delicious fresh strawberry shortcake...also some of the most delightful people you could ever hope to meet. June 6-8--VIRGINIA HOMESCHOOLERS CONVENTION at the Greater Richmond Convention Center. Weel worth attending whether you're a homeschooler, a homeschooling parent or any other Christian interested in teaching and ministry. This is an expansive event with items for sale and also events and workshops. And that's the news for now. May God bless you richly in the days ahead.
